If you are not an indigenous person of Canada you still play a very important role in the process of creating a society which validates and respects our Indigenous population.

You must be involved in the conversation.
But you must not overpower it.
You need to listen to their lived experiences.
But you also need to give your perspective on the situation because all of us and our experiences are embedded in Canadian society.
No lived experience is more important than the next and all must be validated.
We all must be mutually responsible for cultivating discussions between our communities.
Being uncomfortable is okay.
Discussions: Listening with intent and speaking with respect.
